My name is Kathy Huynh. Close friends and family call me by Kat, Kath, KitKat and any variations of Kathy. I respond to all. I’m a multi-passionate, heart centered, people loving entrepreneur and certified go-getter. I love personal development conversations and anything that brings positivity. Oh, yah and I’m also highly sensitive to alcohol and caffeine- on our first meeting, it should not be at a bar or coffee shop.
I’m more than just a makeup artist- in fact my J.O.B is a personal banker. I recently became a certified financial educator and I’ve been in the finance industry for over 11 years. I know, kind of crazy when I think about it too. I started my side hustle as a freelance makeup artist almost 5 years ago because I needed more than just the normal, boring work life. I needed a creative outlet. I wanted to know that I have a purpose and that fulfillment still exists.
Little did I know how much joy and opportunities and blessings makeup artistry has brought into my life. Not only do I get to work with some of the best in the wedding industry, but I also get to meet real life, everyday women and hear their love stories. There’s something so special about knowing you’ve made someone’s special day a little more special by being a part of it. That feeling will never tire me.

Aside from making women feel and look their personal best, I also spend a large amount of time in helping other aspiring makeup artists start their own freelancing business by sharing my tried and true business and beauty tips. I love empowering other creative to pursue their passion and earn extra income as a result. There’s nothing more rewarding than being paid to do the work that you love.
After 5 years of living the life and career I have created for myself, I know with 100% certainty that it did not happen by chance – it happened because I designed it.
